Dr. Andrew Turchin

Dr. Turchin practices full time restorative dentistry in Aspen, Colorado where over the last twelve years has built a practice that treats billionaires, bartenders and everyone in between. But he is most well known for his predictable natural Cosmetic and Occlusal Reconstructions for which patients travel from all over the country and world. 

His unique process guarantees patients love their smile and that it is long lasting. Dr. Turchin has gone to the great lengths of importing talented ceramists from Italy and across the country for his In-House Laboratory. The laboratory gives him and his year long coaching clients, one extra level of predictability in their results. Predictability of process equals confidence.

After graduating UMDNJ in 1999 and Columbia AEGD in 2000, Dr. Turchin practiced in Manhattan for 13 years. First, as an associate of Dr. Jonathan Levine- a leading cosmetic and reconstructive dentist who currently heads up NYU's Esthetics Continuum with Jeffrey McClendon. Dr. McClendon is a Bioesthetics Faculty member and the person Dr. Turchin credits with much of his esoteric knowledge on occlusion, esthetics, and face support. Without that mentorship, Dr. Turchin wouldn't be who is today. A few years later while starting his Fifth Avenue practice, he moonlighted with Larry Rosenthal. 

Dr. Turchin grew his practice to a busy high end FFS restorative practice, but after 13 years in Manhattan, he followed his passion for skiing to the mountains of Aspen, Colorado. 

Why Did Dr. Turchin Develop Cosmetic Confidence Coaching?

Being a resort town dentist gave Dr. Turchin the unique opportunity to see cosmetic dentistry from all over the country. It was after seeing a great deal of dentistry that wasn't natural looking, predictable, and long lasting, that he decided for the first time to make an impact in his profession. After a few years of lecturing and mentoring/advising colleagues, he noticed that often many dentists didn't implement what they learned at a lecture. Even many doing a continuum such as Spear, Pankey, or Dawson do not implement their knowledge on a regular basis. Why?

Others Lack Confidence

So, Dr. Turchin designed a program designed to let others borrow his confidence, while building the confidence of others. There has never been a course like this before and it is the missing link for many. But most importantly, Dr. Turchin knows this type of learning works because it is how he learned and became confident. Although he has taken many course from Spear, Bioesthetics, and and Dawson, it was his mentorship and associateships that gave him the knowledge and confidence to give his patients the best.
